You may access and or browse the Site as an unregistered user but will need to register with Gigvvy for an account and select a password and a custom profile URL in order to submit, edit or review any articles intended for publication in one of the Journals. You will be required to provide your Username to gain access to some of this Site. Any submissions, edits, images, figures, information or data in any form, you make via our platform including without limitation uploading of any articles or edits to articles are described in these Terms as your Contents. You acknowledge that some parts of this Site may be subject to registration and additional Terms and Conditions which will be made available for you to read at the time of registration. You acknowledge and agree that you will comply with any Editorial Workflows, Author Guidelines, Publication Ethics or other policies applicable to the journal you contribute to via your account. Failure to provide accurate information of yourself is a breach of this Agreement, which may result in immediate termination of your account. On registration with Gigvvy you agree to be automatically registered with other sites operated by Gigvvy using these login credentials so that you can seamlessly transfer between the Site. You acknowledge you will not select or use as a Username a name of another person with the intent to impersonate that person; or use as a Username a name subject to any rights of a person other than you without appropriate authorization. Payment
Gigvvy use a third-party payment provider ("Payment Provider") to bill you through a payment account linked to your Membership Plan or Article Processing Charge (“APC”) on the Services for use of the Paid Services. The processing of payments will be subject to the conditions, privacy policies and terms of the Payment Provider in addition to this Agreement.
In any case an article is accepted for publication, the corresponding author originally submitting the article intended for publication will be invoiced for the applicable APC. Payments of APC must be made in the period stipulated on the invoice. Payments must be made in full via the Payment Provider and in accordance with such provider’s terms of service. Payment by any other means is permitted only in our sole discretion. Publication of an article with the original publisher requires payment of a non-refundable APC in accordance with publisher’s APC Policy listed for each journal. You agree that payment of an APC does not guarantee publication of an article by the Journal or the original publisher. You authorize us, through the Payment Provider, to charge your chosen payment provider ("Payment Method") and you agree to make payment using that selected Payment Method. The terms of your payment will be based on your Payment Method and is agreed between you and the credit card issuer, financial institution, or other provider of your chosen Payment Method. If Gigvvy do not receive payment from you through the Payment Provider, you agree to pay all amounts due on your Billing Account upon demand. Gigvvy is not responsible for error by the Payment Provider. By choosing to use Paid Services, you agree to pay through the Payment Provider. You agree to make payment using that selected Payment Provider and Gigvvy reserve the right to correct any errors or mistakes that it makes even if it has already requested or received payment.
Gigvvy reserves the right to require payment of fees for certain or all Services provided. You shall pay all fees as described on the Site in connection with such Services selected by you. Gigvvy reserves the right to change its price list, upon notice to you, which may be sent by email or posted on the Site. Your use of the Services following such notification constitutes your acceptance of any new or increased charges. Gigvvy offers a fee waiver for Service on request, to Publisher from countries which are classified by the World Bank as Low-income economies. Gigvvy only allow one waiver per Publisher, per year.
